My name is Zachary Szewczyk. I am a student at Youngstown State University, and in 2018 I will graduate with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Information Systems. That same day, after four years in the ROTC program, I will commission into the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant as well. In the weeks and months leading up to those events, though, I will have a lot of time on my hands.
School and ROTC take up most of that time, but I split the rest between working and writing, reading, coding, and enjoying the outdoors. I don't get to spend anywhere near as much time doing any one of those things as I would like, but I take whatever I can get. Travel deserves a spot at the front of that list, too, but after visiting three continents, nine countries, and almost twice as many states here in America, even the travel bug needed a rest.
I have enjoyed the great outdoors since before I can remember, written here and elsewhere off and on since 2006, and developed my own coding projects since 2004. Although my knack for programming has helped me excel in this field, my passion lies in the great outdoors, and in the writer's craft. I haven't figured out how to turn either of these two into paying jobs yet, though, and so I started selling my services as a developer specializing in made-to-order content management systems and front-end web design in 2014. You can find more information about my credentials and the services I offer on the new customers page, so visit that one if it sounds like I might be able to help you out. If you would like to see some examples of my work, you can head over to the projects page, and if I have worked for you in the past, existing customers probably has what you came here looking for.
